Spaghetti is a long, thin, solid, cylindrical pasta, a staple food in traditional Italian cuisine "Spaghetti strands average between 25 to 30 cm long. Traditional Italian spaghetti is served with tomato sauce, simply seasoned with various herbs like basil and oregano.

A variety of pasta dishes are based on it and it is frequently served with tomato sauce, meat or vegetables. Spaghetti may often be confused with noodles, however Spaghetti is made from 100% Durum Wheat Semolina and noodles are made of maida. Spaghetti is Pasta while noodles are not Pasta.

    Use 5 litres of salted water for 500g of pasta. Add pasta to the boiling water and stir occasionally for the cooking time indicated. When cooked, drain and add the desired sauce.
