Fusilli with tomato Sauce and Basil
- 350 g Fusilli
- 500 g of Tomato Sauce
- 1 Large Garlic Clove
- A sprig of Fresh Basil
- Parmesan Cheese
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Take a high-sided pan and pour in oil, add the clove of garlic till it turns brown, add springs of fresh basil leaving a few for decoration.
- As soon as the garlic is done, add tomato sauce and cook with the lid for 15 minutes, stirrings in between, add salt to the taste. once the sauce thickens up, leave it aside.
- Cook the pasta in abundant salted water, then drain and immediately transfer it to the pot with the sauce.
- Remove the garlic, turn the heat on stirring the pasta to coat the sauce well. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese n serve hot.
